Mayor Lenny Curry officially declared June 17, 2016 as Waste and Recycling Workers Week in Jacksonville, FL. We at Waste and Recycling Workers Week are always honored by the proclamations and declarations of support for sanitation workers across the country but this one is extra special for us since Jacksonville, Florida is where this all started.
Businesses and citizens in Jacksonville are encouraged to recognize all trash collectors and solid waste management employees for their hard work and the important role they play in keeping the city safe and clean.
